BACK TO THE FUTURE
"Back to the future" is a light performance that present Hong Kong history and future. Highlighting the very innocent happy moment we celebrate Mid-Autumn festival, the golden movies period of Hong Kong, the reunification in1997, the terrified SARS, the umbrella movement and the unknown future. We use a specific colour to represent each scene to lead the audience go through the journey clearly. Being one of the director and the main performer, I was telling a story from anyone in Hong Kong who witnessed and went through those period.
This is a journey of time so we didn't make the stage a fixed one. Instead, we make it into a 360 degree threatre that the audiences sit in the middle and we walk and dance in the outer circle to providing the feeing of passing by something.

Candles that were measured to match the number of those killed in each of the typhoons across Hong Kong's history since 1960 were suspended over a grid and melted in a performance.
After a typhoon in Hong Kong, public attention is often in less fortunate area, the storms tragically end lives. Those killed by typhoons are memorialized in this work by extinguished flames, the wax becoming a silent measurement of death toll data placed into a grid as a mathematical measurement.
逐漸溶化在網格上的蠟燭高度經過測量，刻畫自1960年以來香港颱風所造成的死亡人數。 每次香港颱風過後，公眾注意力往往集中於經濟損失與個人不便，很快便忘記無形兇手帶來的傷痕。表演以熄滅的火焰焯念那些不幸的死者，熔化的蠟涷結在可量化的網格中，成為死亡數據的一種無聲描摹。

(Street Art Experiment)
"Cross Districts" is an artwork which illustrates the danger of crossing the road, but at the same time, it's also made to provoke people's thoughts of other kinds of dangers in Hong Kong. For example, people in Central are rushing for time and they would miss a lot of great stuff or even face dangers; or the elevating elderly problem and the wealth gap issue are also serious and would like to be solved.
In Hong Kong, there are comprehensive of dangers that you may not have noticed. After watching or taking part in this artwork, you may figure out something different more than just crossing the road.
